Hollystar's Past

Prologue
Wind blew as Hollystar ran from the dogs leading them to the rapid rivers that bordered her and Stormclan's territory. She knew that any animal who tries to cross the river will drown immediently because of the rapids and currents of the rapidly moving water.
Her patrol came after her. "Go back to camp! Now!"They followed her command and ran back to camp.
When she got to the edge of the river, she was trapped. The dogs leaped at her but she rolled under them and they jumped in the river and drowned instead. One more ran at her and she was trapped again.
Whitefrost sprinted to the scene but he could not jump over the dog to save Hollystar. "Go to camp Whitefrost! NOW!" she hissed.Oh StarClan listen Whitefrost!
"But-" "No buts! GO!!!"Hollystar yowled. Whitefrost only hid behind the bushes and watched the dog carefully.
Hollystar pushed the dog into the rapids but it managed to pull Hollystar in with it. StarClan no!"Hollystar!" Her deputy yowled and jumped out of the bush.
Once he dragged her to safety, Midnightpaw, Waterfern, Milkleaf, and Lionsky with Tinymoon appeared. "Hollystar!No!" Tinymoon sniffed as she padded to her best freind.
"I guess it was her time.." Lionsky mewed sadly. Hollystar twitched her ears. "Hollystar!" Tinymoon gasped with suprised. "Whitefrost... I need you to take care of BrambleClan for me... treat it well like your kin and choose your deputy wisely..." Hollystar rasped. "Tinymoon.. I'm so sorry I will miss you... goodbye.."
Hollystar closed her eyes as she fell in to the pitch black skies.
Chapter 1
Hollykit pounced onTinykit with playfulness. Tinykit giggled a little. " What's so funny?" Mousefang, Tinykit's mother mewed. Tinykit shrugged. "Come on Hollykit let's go explore camp!" Tinykit meowed.
Hollykit followed Tinykit out of the nursery. "Well look who's out of the nursery!" Sunwhisker, Hollykit's father mewed as he padded to the kits. Tinykit giggled again. Hollykit snapped, "Will you stop that !?!"
"You sound like the elders!" Jaypaw called to Hollykit. Ugh! Apprentices. They think they are to oldest and best of the clan. Hollykit ignored Jaypaw and moved on. Until she found three giant stumps. The biggest had a small den carved into it. Ashkit jumped to Hollykit and Tinykit and stopped. "Whoa.." he gasped. "This must be the three stumps of BrambleClan.The biggest one is Larkstar's den.The others are for the medicine cats and the deputy" Tinykit stared at the big stumps. Ashkit lightly padded into the biggest one. "Hey Ashkit! You looking for something called- I don't know.. trouble?" Redwhisk teased as he tried to impress a laughing Deertail. Ashkit glared back at them. "I'm going to be an apprentice by a moon after Hollykit and Tinykit get there apprenticeship! " he retorted. "Some day I will be leader and I will- show them!" Hollykit heard Ashkit grumbled in anger.Well Mr. Grumpkit!Don't say your plans out loud! Will Ashkit choose the path of fire and blood of treachery or a path of light? Hollykit wondered.
Chapter 2
"Hollykit you will now be knowned as Hollypaw till you have earned your warrior name." Larkstar meowed. Hollypaw smiled delightfully as the clan cheered her and Tinypaw's new name. They both saw Ashkit sitting outside the nursery mad and glareing to the ground.
"What's wrong?" Tinypaw asked. "Stupid Redwhisk! Stupid warrior! Stupid everything!" Ashkit growled. Heatherpaw padded to him. "Be carefull for what you say Ashkit. Somethings you say should be kept to yourself not your words." Heatherpaw meowed calmly. "No! I hate Redwhisk! He always teases me like I'm a kittypet!" Ashkit's fur bristled.
"Whatever you say." Heatherpaw moved on. Hollykit padded to her mentor with Tinypaw to begin their training together. Hollypaw's mentor was Deertail. Tinypaw's was Amberfang one she-cat with an aditude of a snapping elder. I hope the clan will be okay because Ashkit is becoming agressive more often.
Chapter 3
A moon had passed and today is when Ashkit get his apprentice name.Hollypaw bit her muzzle nervously for Ashkit's future reaction for revenge or not. "All clan cats old enough to catch their own prey please meet under the Three Stumps for a clan meeting." Larkstar yowled. After all the cats gathered Larkstar started to speak. "I wish to call Ashkit for his apprenticeship to begin." He meowed happily. Hollypaw thought it was because there would be more warriors for BrambleClan to have. Ashkit padded to the front and sat down, staring at the ground. "Do you wish to become a BrambleClan apprentice and defend your clan even for the cost of your life?" Larkstar asked. There was a silent moment until Ashkit answered yes. "I now pronouce you as Ashpaw. Your mentor will be Spiketooth." Larkstar mewed. "Now an apprentice has worked had and trained all day and he deserves his warrior name. This apprentice is Jaypaw!" Larkstar meowed. "Will you defend your clan, kits, elders, and kin till ever of your life?" Larkstar asked Jaypaw . "I do" he answered Larkstar. "Then by the powers of StarClan, you will be now knowned as Jaywhisker!" Larkstar yowled with pride. After the cheers, Larkstar let his new deputy, Redwhisk choose the patrols. Hollypaw looked at Ashpaw trying to impress the other she-cat apprentices but failing. Until she blinked and saw him glareing at her with blood covered on him and an unfamiliar cat that she guessed he had killed. She blinked again and gladly saw it was a daydream when it was really, a vision of warning from StarClan.
Chapter 3
Moons passed, Hollypaw and Tinypaw finally had received their warrior names. Hollyfrost and Tinymoon. Ashpaw still had to be an apprentice till 4 more moons. Hollyfrost decided to tell Heatherflight, the new medicine cat, about her vision 2 moons ago. When she did, Heatherflight told her about a prophecy and she thought Hollyfrost and Ashpaw had to do something with it. Heatherflight's prophecy's words ring through my ears Fire and blood do not mix. The one of fire will blaze for moons. The one of blood will die in the words of StarClan. Heatherflight thought Hollyfrost was the fire and the blood is Ashpaw. Hollyfrost was shocked in disbeliefed. "Hollyfrost!" Redstar the new leader, mewed. "Larkstar forgot to bring you to the Moonstone-Pool. So I figured if you, Tinymoon, Heatherflight, Cloverpaw, and me can go there." Redstar suggested. He told Jaywhisker to watch camp because the real deputy, Tawnyshell is sick with an uncureable belly ache. Heatherflight had to make sure Tanwyshell was sleeping while she was gone. Once they arrived to the StarClan's caves they touched their noses on a glowing stone and slept. the slepted in a cave on a small island with the glowing stone on it with the glowing pool around it the island. All in one cave. Hollyfrost opened her eyes and found herself in StarClan. There, she met new cats she did not had met before. Once they all woke up, they began padding to camp.
Chapter 4
"Attack!"Goldstar yowled. "Breezeclan!" Hollyfrost heard Ashpaw growled. Hollyfrost watched Ashpaw pounce on the BreezeClan deputy, Frostnose. Hollyfrost rolled into the nearby bushes and watched Ashpaw. "How dare you cross BrambleClan territory!" Ashpaw snorted.
"That's what a poor puny apprentice would say." Frostnose showed his sharp long teeth hoping to make Ashpaw back down. "That's not scary!" Ashpaw retorted. Hollyfrost saw Ashpaw sink his fangs deep into Frostnoses's back. Hollyfrost thought it was not so deep but it was deeper than she thought. "Enough!" Spiketooth growled.
Ashpaw ignored his mentor. Spiketooth dissapered in to the shadows. Ashpaw clawed Frostnose in the belly. He fell weakly and commanded his warriorsd to retreat. "Every clan shall retreat from BrambleClan!" Ashpaw shown his bloody claws with pride. "Let's go back to camp" Jaywhisker.

"Now two apprentices have earned their warrior name for defending their clan territory! Rockpaw and Ashpaw!" Redstar yowled. Hollyfrost saw that Rockpaw gazed at her as if he loved her. Hollyfrost blushed. Tinymoon cheered with the clan, "Ashclaw! Rocktail! " Hollyfrost observed Rocktail and saw what let him win. His big, heavy, long tail. She remembered him smacking Goldstar in the face with his tail causing Goldstar's nose to bleed. Hollyfrost was amazed.
Chapter 5
Moons passed so fast, Hollyfrost moved in the nursery along with Deertail and Tinymoon. Hollyfrost had a mate. Rocktail but she liked Crowtail more. Crowtail of StormClan. Hollyfrost loved Crowtail and they planned if they had four kits they'd get 2 kits for their clans. Hollyfrost knew today would be the day she'd start kitting and she was right! "Heatherflight! Hollyfrost's kitting!" Rocktail yowled for assistantanace. Rocktail didn't know that Hollyfrost was mating with Crowtail. Heatherflight came in the room a moment later. " What will you name them?" Heatherflight asked. "Thornkit, Stormkit, Bumblekit and-" Hollyfrost was cut off by Rocktail's growl. "This one is blind! She deserves to die! She is usless!"
Heatherflight growled "No cat will harm kits Rocktail! I'm sure she can be a medicine cat if she has a wonderful scense of smell." Rocktail glared at the medicine cat. "I will name her Jewelkit." Hollyfrost meowed, gazing at her kits.
The last one was a brown tom with a short tail. Hollyfrost knew the kit couldn't climb trees but she was proud of him. "I will name the last one Onekit."
Chapter 6
Hollyfrost padded to the StormClan border with Onekit. "I will miss you my kit..." Hollyfrost murmured sitting at the bank waiting for Crowtail to pick him up. He came as he left. Hollyfrost felt her kit filled with sadness in him.I'm so sorry my little kit. Hollyfrost padded to camp and yowled that Onekit dissapered after she made a hole in the nursery walls to make it look like he digged out. Then she slept on her bed as the search patrol searched for him.
Hollyfrost dreamed like never before. That she became leader and Ashclaw died to DeathClan for consqeunces along. Oh Ashclaw... Hollyfrost curled her lips.
A moon later and my kits are playing with Tinymoon's. Just like the old kit days. Hollyfrost smiled. Jewelkit does have a good nose. It turns out one of Tinymoon's kits could not see well. Her name was Mousekit. The kit was a small brown kit with one blue eye and a pale green eye.
Chapter 7
So many moons and Rocktail did not find about Crowtail.Until today. "Badger attack!" the border patrol yowled. Hollyfrost was out of the nursery after her kits became apprentices to warriors. "Lilypaw!" Hollyfrost yowled to her apprentice. "Go defend the nursery!." Sunwhisker padded to Hollyfrost. "What's going on?" he demanded. "The camp is being attacked!." Hollyfrost dashed to a badger and fought it with Rocktail. Silvermoon yowled "Jaywhisker help!" Hollyfrost came into the nursery with Rocktail, Redstar, and Jaywhisker. One of her kits were bleeding with a dire bite. "What happened?" Jaywhisker asked his mate. "Woodkit decied to go out of the nursery to play but a badger bit him!" Silvermoon yowled. "Now he's dead!" Silvermoon sniffed. "Sorry about your kit." Redstar mumured. Silvermoon moved to the underground camp to be safe. "Rocktail... your not the real father of my kits..." Hollyfrost sighed. "Then who is?" Rocktail began to glare at her.
"It's... it's Crowtail." Hollyfrost replied. Redstar and Jay whisker remained silent to see what will happen. "Can you believe this?!? I love you so much! You know what I felt like when I was going to be a father!" Rocktail's fur bristled with anger. He targeted to Hollyfrost and ran at her readying his tail's attack posision. Redstar blocked his attack and got hit instead. Hollyfrost gasped as she remembered her dream moons ago. Redstar fell silent and stayed still. "He's dead!" Rocktail gasped for what he did.
"You did this!" Jaywhisker growled. "Your now banished for killing your leader!" "It was an accident!" Rocktail retorted. "Go!" Jaywhisker's fur bristled. Before Rocktail could go, a badger came in the den and killed him and went away as if StarClan gave him their own punishment.
"Looks like the badgers had enough today!" Lilypaw meowed after the badgers retreated.
"Let all gather old enough to catch their own prey meet underneath the Three Stumps for a clan meeting." Jaywhisker yowled. "Heatherflight and Cloverberry please go down the stump to help the clan while I speak." he added. "Redstar and Rocktail are dead. I will go to StarClan's cave to get my nine lives." Jaywhisker mewed.
Chapter 8
Moons later, Jaystar lost his lives fighting bravely for BrambleClan.He helped Hollyfrost defeat Ashclaw, but died in the battle. Her father died moons earlier with wounds from GlideClan. He was deputy before Hollyfrost was. "I will now go to StarClan's cave to receive my leader lives and name. And Crowtail...." Hollyfrost began. Crowtail joined BrambleClan when he was banished from his clan for finding out a secret about Ashclaw and Dimstar. "You will now be my trustworthy deputy."
"You must protect camp while I'm gone" Hollyfrost announced. "It is an honor to be deputy" Crowtail meowed as he padded to the deputy's stump. "Good luck, Crowtail." she mewed.
Chapter 9
"Let's go Hollyfrost!"Heatherflight meowed.
"Ok!" Hollyfrost chased after her. Once the cats came into the cave, they padded down to the old rocky slope. and passed through stelagmites and stelagtites. Then they finally came to the Moonstone-Pool.......

Chapter 10
Hollyfrost touched her nose on the stone and wait till she slept. Please let this work StarClan! She couldn't wait to tell Tinymoon about her StarClan leader ceremony.

"Welcome back, Hollyfrost." Hollyfrost was awaken by a familiar voice. It was Sunwhisker, Jaystar, Jewelkit who didn't survive and died 1 moon later, Heatherflight, Cloverberry, Rabbitleap, Deertail, Redstar, and her brother, Shrewfoot. After the cats gave her 8 lives, her kit was the last one. "With this life I give you love." Jewelkit mewed. "By forever, I pronounce you as Hollystar."

The Ending Chapter
"Now that's the story of Hollystar. My kits. She was a great leader. Crowtail became an elder and Whitefrost, her deputy took his place. All though, a new born warrior might as well cause trouble and brothers will fight each other... But that's a different story! Now go to bed my kits!"
